Ezriel Edward Kornel, MD, FAANS, FACS, is a distinguished neurosurgeon who specializes in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for spine and brain conditions. He works at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group in Mount Kisco, New York.

Known for his pioneering contributions to MIS techniques, Dr. Kornel has developed and patented several innovative instrumentation methods that significantly reduce surgical trauma and enhance recovery times.

Dr. Kornel earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Ithica, New York, and his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
